Guild Trading Policy
TRADING Policy within the guild...
Recently there have been some concerns about trading within the guild. So here is our Guild policy. It is your responsibility to know this policy.
We do NOT require you to give a discount to guild members. We all need to work towards advancing, so our guild becomes stronger. It is unfair to expect you all to continuously give away your hard earned resources for less then you could get on the market. If you want to give resources at a discount to guild members this is perfectly fine but NOT a requirement.
Do NOT ask a guild member for a discount. Do not say, well you are a guildy, you should give it to me for cheaper. Let the guild member offer the discount should they choose to do so.
There is nothing wrong with posting your standard trading prices either on the forum or in guild chat. If your standard trading price is 30 gold coins for 400 bronze swords, and I cannot find cheaper on the market. Then I would rather buy it from a guild member then a stranger. Therefore helping you out, for something I would have bought regardless. If i can find it for cheaper on the market then i'll not buy yours.. that simple.
Bartering Central.. located in the guild Bazaar is where you are to list your regular selling prices, and where others are free to undercut you, with their own deals.
The forum called Generosity Lane, also found in the guild bazaar, is where if you are one that loves to help others you can list the deals you are willing to give to guild members, with any requirements you feel comfortable with.
It is your responsibility that should you list something on either of those forums, that you should keep your lists up to date.
It is your responsibility to get to know the value of materials in the game and decide if the trades listed in bargaining central are good for you or not. Some might be crappy deals, our hope is that others will undercut the crappy deals.
Should you ever have a question on whether you think a trade is fair to you, ask in guild chat.. chances are there will be lots of guild members ready to give their opinion.
